Oral health care for Cambodian children is a major issue.
Most rural Cambodian children were not taught to brush their teeth.
80% of the Cambodian population live in poor rural conditions where oral health care is not part of the culture.
The “Don’t Rush the Brush” project will give opportunity for children in the rural areas to learn about oral health care, and tooth brushing technique, in order to keep their mouth and teeth healthy and clean.

In our first pilot project we will distribute 400 “Don’t Rush the Brush “, tooth brushing kits to 400 students at RAKO school, Kirimanun village, Siem Reap province, Cambodia. Each kit will include:
Tooth Brushes
Tooth Paste
Floss
"Don’t Rush the Brush" book written in Khmer and English
These kits will be distributed with a program of instruction for proper brushing.
This is a pilot project leading to a National Oral Health Campaign for the nation of Cambodia.
